We celebrate festivals with a change of seasons or to celebrate the birth of a saint.
Out of all such festivals, Halloween is one of them. Halloween is a festival which is loved by kids, adults and even old people. These days, every country and every culture celebrate Halloween. Halloween has varied but interesting history. In the pagan times, people would dress up like ghosts and ghouls and roam around the fire to ward off the ghosts. Later, Pope Gregory dedicated Halloween to remember all the saints and martyrs. Over the years, Halloween has taken the shape of a community-based festival where people dress up, get together for meals, buy gifts and go trick or treating.
People plan of Halloween. They decide a character they want to dress up like. Some people get costumes from shops others even sew it themselves. Halloween is a day to go out. People decorate their gardens and home with spooky stuff. But if you are the kind of person who likes staying indoors, you can buy loads of candies and sweets for all the treat hunters giving bells around the neighborhood. People even hand over stuff like toys and stationery.
